DryBarrier® is a modular subfloor system designed for basements, placed directly on concrete below your finished floor. The 2’x2’ tiles simply snap together in a stacked bond pattern (no need for staggering) providing a vapour barrier and durable flat-top surface to support your choice of flooring. The low-profile tile is only 3/8” in thickness, optimizing ceiling height while providing an effective ¼” air gap to promote airflow and provide a thermal break for warmth and comfort. In the event of a water leak or spill, DryBarrier® will not trap water unlike dimpled surface underlayment’s, protecting your floors for a lifetime.

Description
DryBarrier® is a low profile modular subfloor tile system made from thermoplastic elastomer and is used on concrete as a subfloor for below grade and slab on-grade construction. The tiles easily snap together with no shims required, in a stack bond pattern minimizing cuts. DryBarrier® adds warmth and creates a vapor barrier with a 1/4” air space between the concrete and finished floor. The durable top surface is flat and can support finished floor applications such as laminates, carpet, engineered vinyl planks and engineered floating hardwood.
